Basic yet Powerful Hair Masks for Dull Hair

Just like our skin, our hair is very influenced by the environment changes such as pollution, dirt, heat and cold. Preparing hair mask and apply it every week can protect hair in different ways thereby improving on the better distribution of nutrients to the scalp and breathing strength into hair roots. Question is how often should you be using a mask on hair and what kind of mask works best. The answer is any mask that has organic ingredient such as clay and oil will restore your hair. If your hair is dull and rough, you’d better use a mask for two or three times in a week or whenever you feel comfortable.  Having healthy hair is a blessing but it needs care, too, to maintain its health you must do hair massage on weekly basis. Here are some very nice hair masks that you will definitely be helpful in improving the condition of your hair.

Simple Clay Mask:

Though you wash your hair on regular basis and you are using a nice shampoo- what if I told you that your scalp would have a ton of dust no matter how expensive your shampoo is. Prepare a clay mask. For mix some clay in a bowl by mixing the reasonable amount of water and apply it over your hair starting from the roots. This is one of my most favorite hair masks for dull hair.

Clay is beneficial for hair, it has the ability to absorb dirt and dust particle, it will definitely cleanse your scalp and eliminate dandruff if you have any.  Being light antiseptic ingredient clay will stimulate blood circulation to improve the health of your hair.

Masks of Useful Oil

Mix two tablespoons of coconut oil with two tablespoons of burdock oil and add some nettle extract. Apply this mask on the wet hair. Let it sit for few minutes and then wash with lukewarm water.

Clay and Egg

Some natural products go very well with the clay. Beat one egg yolk in a big bowl and add ½ tablespoon of butter, ½ tablespoon of mustard powder, 3 tablespoons of clay and three drops of fresh lemon juice. Apply this mask onto the roots and then cover the whole hair length. You can cover your head by a towel if needed so. You need to put on this mask for minimum two hours, wash it with lukewarm water and dry your hair. You will notice gloss and bounce in hair. This is one of many effective hair masks for dull hair.

Simple Blue Clay

Mix few drops of lemon with two tablespoons of yogurt and then mix it with blue clay. Apply this paste on hair and let it sit for thirty minutes, wash it with a good shampoo.
